So I've had Alenko for a few weeks now and he hadn't had an accident at all in the house until this weekend. And I think I know why.
We were out at the park playing for a good chunk of the morning and because it was hot, he was drinking a lot of water, at least 2 liters worth.
Hind sight now says it should have been obvious that he'd have to go out more after drinking that much water, but I didn't think about it until I was cleaning up the second mess. Went out to the pet store yesterday and bought a bell for the door and I'm starting to teach him to ring it each time he goes out.
Just wondering if everyone else finds that their thirsty husky's need to go out more in the summer to relieve themselves?
