Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. So Sierra got dropped off at the Vet to get one tooth pulled, well the vet just called and she needs more dental work Sad we knew her one top incisor had to go but after xrays and a full mouth check she has cracked her molar on the bottom left and that needs to come out. she has a few chips on the canines that will get filled and i guess she has 2 loose incisors on the bottom to watch. my poor baby girl, i did not even ask how much i will just hand over the plastic when she is done....

guess butcher bones are out of the question now for her. i will keep you all updated on how she feels when i pick her up

Sierra is home, she has been wimpering off and on, she wants to eat everything! Vet said she had low blood pressure while under so they pumped a lot of fluid in her. They sealed 9 of her teeth! And pulled 2, she also removed a mole on her cheek.just keeping an eye on her. Bill was WAY more then quoted Sad

here is her incisor that was removed. you can see how much it was worn down and the hole that formed.

here is her molar that was removed as you can see in the pic a slice of the tooth is missing Sad
she had to break it in half to get it out

i have pictures of her face to but on my camera, she seems back to almost normal today, still not holding her tail up high but higher then yesterday. she is on pain meds and antibiotics. she inhaled her soaked food this morning. she is a trooper and even thought she cost us a ton of money this month and we (if we wanted to charge it) could have spent that on a nice vacation im glad she is on the mend now. good thing for plastic!

she is doing much better now, it has been a week. i have also noticed a decrees in dark eye boogers since having the teeth pulled. the vet said that the liver cleanses it self through the eyes and that its a good sign the boogers have gotten better, i have high hopes her liver is getting better now as well

Poor pretty girl =( Why did they remove the mole? Did they have reason to believe it could turn malignant?

she said it looked fine, nothing to worry about but in time they grow larger and could fall off and bleed. for $30 she just cut it off since she was all ready out, now i don't have to worry about it!
