When i first got Nikki she was 2ish. At first she was fixated on the bird but i worked a LOT with her and can trust her around the bird, even with him out of the cage. If he flaps a lot she still gets very interested but its easy to get her fixation off of him. I would never ever trust them alone together though for obvious reasons...can NEVER be 100% trustworthy with any sort of small animal haha
