| Is there any certain types of toys I should get my husky? Or will any dog toys work? Also Titan is only 4 weeks old but I want to start training her, is there any types of treats I should get for her being that young? Should I not give her treats at all? If i can give her treats is there a limit to how many in a sitting?
Thanks! Andrew |

| I would recommend getting some puppy training treats. they are great as an incentive for good behavior and treats. I would just check on the label if they are suitable for 4 weeks though as most people get puppies 8 weeks the earliest usually. if you dont have many toys some old clothes or socks tried in knots are really good for them to play with and if it has your smells on even better |

| We give Juno hard chewable rubber toys and she loves them. Also as your dog gets older the hard rubber balls with holes in it with a tennis ball inside keeps them occupied for hours. You just have to experiment. |

| Our favorites are: Small squeaky animals (the louder and more savage sounding the squeak, the more he loves them!), Squeaky tennis balls (I love them, they never die!!), A 5" diameter see-through ball that lights up when you bounce it (got it at walmart in the children's toy section) Tug toys (anything longer than it is wide), Animals made out of felted wool (if they still smell like the sheep they came off of, the better! don't leave these lying around though, they are not meant to be chew toys) And last but definitely not least, puzzle toys (like the kong wobbler, hide a squirrel, etc.)
Titan might have different tastes though, you could experiment to find out what she likes. |

| Zukes makes our favorite training treat. I don't think they are available at Petsmart. The Zukes are tiny, but I used to even cut that in half since I was giving him so many for training rewards.
I have never giving socks or clothes as play toys since the dog may then be confused about which sock is his and which just got left on the floor by a careless family member.
Many puppies enjoy the Nylabone for puppy teeth to help sooth the teething that they go through at about 4 months (is that the right age??). Anyway, puppies like to chew! The more you give them to chew, the fewer things of yours they will chew (hopefully). Sabaka likes the Orka Jack and the JW Holee Roller ball. Add some tug ropes and a few Skinz (stuffing free) squeaky animals for him to destroy in a few hours and a Kong to stuff with goodies and put in his crate when we are gone, and these are all the toys he really ever uses. Oh, and a real soccer ball outside...

| I like Orijen dog treats. Since I can't afford to buy their food, I've settled for their treats and Kael absolutely loves them.
His favorite toys so far are those Skinneeez dog toys by Spot. I love that I don't have to worry about him eating up any stuffing and he just loves throwing it around and pouncing on it. My favorite is when he spins around with it like a helicopter. He doesn't seem to care much for anything hard, like rubber, unless it's something like his antler chew.
I recommend the Himalayan dog chews as well. Kael has yet to get completely bored of them and they last a long time. Well worth the money. |

| Treats I always have around: Milkbone Healthy Favorites Granola biscuits, and Zukes. Toys: The infamous Kong. <--- This one (considering it is a brand, but this is the most famous and most purchased type) And Nylabone <--- This one (Also a brand but the best in my opinion .. it is the non-edible one. LASTS FOREVER ...*like 3 months*) **Also side note the edible ones Okami had gone in like 5 minutes and it gave her bad diarrhea would not suggest for a husky** Chuck it Balls This one (Also like the other 2 it is a brand but it is the best variation of them) I Have no idea what it is about this ball.... but they are virtually HUSKY INDESTRUCTIBLE! I had one fatefully and randomly in my yard... I was like cool FREE ball! So I gave it to her when she was like .... 2 months old... she is 10 months old... and it still lives. I bought a bigger one too... they are fantastic, and they BOUNCE. Best toy ever. At the age that your pup is at ( THESE WILL NOT LAST FOREVER!!! THEY WILL ONLY LAST DURING TINY PUPPY STAGE!) And The Kong Wubba's are awesome teethers and tug toys. The Purple one has a very rough fabric texture, and the animals a soft. PLUS they SQUEAK! Another type of toy that is fun, is the puzzle toys... there is a lot of those to choose from. Hope this helps! |

| Nova loves her nylabone, we freeze it every once in awhile but she plays with it regardless of if its frozen or not, we've had hers since march and aside from the ends being kinda chewed up its still going pretty strong, the digestible ones upset her stomach as well though |

| Just a tip if it's unknown, the rough chewed parts of a nylabone can be sanded smooth to add extra life. |
