Hello all
My name is Kyle and I'm in Louisville Kentucky, so I have finally decided to get a husky pup of my own. I've rescued a few in the past and made sure they went to forever homes, doing so has definitely made an impact on me and am super excited to have one of my own.

I'll be picking her up Dec. 7th and will be sure to post pictures as soon as I have her. The only thing I have left to do at this point is figure out a name for her ( I've been rolling Gaz around as a name ) but I'll figure that out after seeing the personality of the pup once she is actually home. I did get to spend some time with her a couple of weeks ago, through it wasn't very long.

I've been rolling Gaz and Lola around for a bit, also found out that the litter was born on my birthday ( 10-13 ) so that's pretty awesome too.

Where is she from? Do you have pictures?

I'll load pictures as soon as I get her home and it's been more like the past week that has been killing me. I'm ready to go pick her fuzzy little butt up and take her home lol. There will be tons of pictures XD.

I found the breeder in Cincinnati Ohio, more or less lucked out on finding her.

So I have the pup, we ended up getting stuck in a snow storm yesterday. What should have been a 2 hour drive turned into a 12 hour ordeal. Overall, we'll worth it. As to the name, she has been Dubbed Leia

I think I know that breeder, was a litter of all blacks / all whites? It's close to where I live. And judging by your user, I totally thought her name would be Zelda

They were off River Road. I would have actually went with Impa, but I'm also a huge star wars fan and I think it will be awesome for Halloween next year to dress her like Slave Leia while I lead her around in her harness dressed like a skinny Jabba XD

I am glad you are okay. I am picking up my pup in January and the 8 hour drive has me a little worried. But we are going to pack for a snow storm and hope for clear weather.

How did Leia handle the drive? An suggestions after the experience?

Keep us posted you are about a month a head of me so it will be cool to hear about Leia while I get ready.

I'm glad we made it safely through the storm, it was aactually worse on the way there, the drive home wasn't as bad since they were able to clear some of 71 south within a couple hours of me arriving.

She actually did really well for the drive. I alternated between her travel kennel and my lap for the drive. She was howling off and on but over all she was good.

Assuming the weather is a bit better tomorrow, I'll be taking her to the vet. We visited with mom yesterday and she nearly had a heart attack between how adorable she is and apparently seeing a round worm moving in her poo for the first time lol.
