It has been some 8 months of research and we are finally getting our Husky puppy!

I received 5 week old photos from the breeder today! We are calling him Ronin which means masterless samurai and should relate to the free spirit of a husky. My daughter thinks Ro-Ro sounds cute (also sounds like barking) so we might see some alternate versions being used LOL Full registered name will be Articpower Grey Ghost - Ronin.

Yeah, my boy is flying from the eastern states which is the other side of the continent. The breeder is off to the airport shortly. I am a bit nervous. I bought him a DAP collar and one of those snuggle puppies with the battery heart beat and heat pad. Hopefully this will help a little with the stress.

Yeah I would be a little worried too. I get to drive my boy back but we will see how a 9 hour car ride goes.

My puppy Ronin arrived from his trek from Newcastle to Perth tonight. He is more beautiful than I hoped for, so now after a meal, explore and play time he is having a well earned snooze. I am very tired after the stress of worrying about the travel but it all went smoothly. Pics will follow soon.

Thanks! Yeah he is going good, chewing everything and doing naughty puppy things, but toilet training has been a breeze thus far.

Stay safe, hopefully you are far enough away from evacuation zones?!

Yeah Ronin is getting big, he is around 11.5kg at 14 weeks, he looks quite lean to me but my vet says he is in perfect condition and to not change anything that I am doing LOL.

Luckily we're safe over the freeway, so as long as the embers don't jump we should be fine.

should post up some more pictures Smile
