Thank you. I hope he has great days - he is quite the love. Since we got him - we've been impressed by his love of life and sweetness. Can't have a bad day with Ami greeting you in the morning  

We had a good walk this morning and now a sleepy, dirty (and stinky)(and it is exacerbating my asthma, will have to clean him this afternoon  ) husky in the kitchen:

Mom thinks I'm cute with my dirty feet up in the air  


Now she says I'm inconvenient!  Make up your mind!


Too hot in the sun...this floor is nice and cool.  And maybe Mom will stop with that flashing thing...


Did somebody open the fridge?!!?


Scrambled eggs? With cheddar cheese...oh boy, oh boy, can I have some?


Are they done yet?


C'mon! How long does it take those things to cool?!!?

Ha ha! I love the fridge open expression! Dizzy does that one too. If you ever take him to get groomed, I want to see those pix! He would look so pretty all brushed and clean and fluffed up! He'd probably hate you though.

I did groom him yesterday - brushed, silky, flowing coat. He lost probably 1/3 of his pantaloons...then we went for a walk last night and he was in the ditches and a 3 ft diameter culvert...happens every time  Black, goopy mud. Smelly, black, goopy mud. And then, this morning - more pine pitch and needles. It's a never ending battle...

Ha ha! Yes. I gave Diz a double bath on Saturday, a shampoo to brighten his undercoat and then his normal shampoo. He looked SO good and his fur was so soft and clean. Then I took him for his walk in the park saturday night and he wanted to zoomie in the mud.   There went the nice white paws and belly.

I really need to get off the computer and get something done but Ami has been sleeping sooooo peacefully snuggled up against the cold washer...

Aww, reminds me of Darren and Layla at the end of each day -- him on the couch playing on his phone and she contentedly curled up at the foot of the couch.

Yup - this is very rewarding for me...the last 3 nights hubby has been bringing Ami in at dinnertime (that part is not so rewarding - becomes a 3 ring circus trying to keep Ami out of the "frying pan" so to speak). Last night I felt like the wicked witch of the west - having to wake Ami and drag him out for his last walk. But, the playful cows made up for it, I think.

Haha, glad to hear the cows are still playful. Makes me smile to think about them interacting with Ami.

Thank you - we like him  Next week, for a brief moment in time, he'll be all spiffy clean. Hopefully, I'll catch a picture before he dirties up again.

I got to go with Mom and Dad to the car show - somethin' about a Father's Day.  I like Dad - he gives me treats!


Archer's Dad brought him to the car show, too.  Lucky for us there's shade in the food tent.  



I like getting petted...and this little girl was so nice, she asked first and then she said my fur was so soft  


Dad said I was s'posed to stay clean for the ride home but we went to the dog park and that stock tank full of water was just tooooo tempting!


Nope. Not gettin' out of the car.

That last picture reminds me of Mishka SO MUCH. I have to bribe him to get out of the car every time we go somewhere. He'll sit in it by himself for like 10 minutes sometimes before he decides to come out.

Glad he and Archer are starting to be best buds!

He is really quirky about getting in and out of the car:

After putting his harness on, he hops IN the car with alacrity.

We get to our destination - he hops OUT with alacrity.

We get back from the activity - we need to treat him to bribe him INTO the car.

We get home, we have to treat him to bribe him OUT of the car 

I figure all of it has one unifying principle: He wants to be near us and have fun. That's it. All he asks. Who can complain about that? (Well, me...trying to cook dinner with him lying in front of the stove is a treat:roll: ) 

I just love Ami! When I was still in denial about Loki, I thought maybe he just had the wooly gene coat like Ami's. He reminds me of a like a fluffy bear!

One of his nicknames is Honey Bear". Sometimes,I refer to him as "my Yeti"

Ami is so beautiful...love his coat and he has the most beautiful eyes!!

Haha, "Yeti" is very fitting. Does he make noises like one, too?
