Thank you - we like him  Next week, for a brief moment in time, he'll be all spiffy clean. Hopefully, I'll catch a picture before he dirties up again.

I got to go with Mom and Dad to the car show - somethin' about a Father's Day.  I like Dad - he gives me treats!


Archer's Dad brought him to the car show, too.  Lucky for us there's shade in the food tent.  



I like getting petted...and this little girl was so nice, she asked first and then she said my fur was so soft  


Dad said I was s'posed to stay clean for the ride home but we went to the dog park and that stock tank full of water was just tooooo tempting!


Nope. Not gettin' out of the car.

That last picture reminds me of Mishka SO MUCH. I have to bribe him to get out of the car every time we go somewhere. He'll sit in it by himself for like 10 minutes sometimes before he decides to come out.

Glad he and Archer are starting to be best buds!

He is really quirky about getting in and out of the car:

After putting his harness on, he hops IN the car with alacrity.

We get to our destination - he hops OUT with alacrity.

We get back from the activity - we need to treat him to bribe him INTO the car.

We get home, we have to treat him to bribe him OUT of the car 

I figure all of it has one unifying principle: He wants to be near us and have fun. That's it. All he asks. Who can complain about that? (Well, me...trying to cook dinner with him lying in front of the stove is a treat:roll: ) 

I just love Ami! When I was still in denial about Loki, I thought maybe he just had the wooly gene coat like Ami's. He reminds me of a like a fluffy bear!

One of his nicknames is Honey Bear". Sometimes,I refer to him as "my Yeti"

Ami is so beautiful...love his coat and he has the most beautiful eyes!!

Haha, "Yeti" is very fitting. Does he make noises like one, too?

Hmmm, dunno what a yeti sounds like. Ami makes a low growly, rumble, sort of like a very hungry stomach

From that description it sounds very much like a yeti -- or a Wookiee. I'm not sure what they sound like either, haha, but I can imagine that would be it if they existed.

Yeti is perfect especially with his coloring!

Yes, Archer is way bigger than when Josh picked him up. He's right around 50 pounds now (or more, 48 at his last vet visit a couple of months ago.)

Didn't realize until I re-did the dates here that it's been almost 6 mos. to the day since I updated.

Yay, I love it! The two make such a good pair, especially now that little Archer is big enough to give Ami a real run for his money, haha!

I'm generally not into blue eyes but Ami's are piercing. They are so narrow and just gorgeous.

They were so sweet this afternoon...I let them romp out of the backyard most of the morning (now my curtains are messed up from me running window to window to keep track of them ) They were exhausted from their non-stop "search and destroy" of the brush. Had 2 sleeping beauties on their blankets for over 2 hours!

Annnnd, there's the doorbell...

Such cool pics Amy. Does Ami's coat darken in the winter? He looks a lil darker in the most recent pics but I also know that lighting can play with our huskies coat color quite a bit. They are both so beautiful and look SO happy together
