Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

PostSubject: Update on Chief   Mon Jun 02, 2014 8:40 pm

I promised an update for Chief so here it is. Chief is doing wonderful he listens so well off leash. Since Smokey passed Chief has really stuck to me like glue even more than before and he is also being more cuddly. We went on our first bike ride not to long ago and he surprised me yet again and did amazing! He is such a wonderful dog. As most here know I was planning on getting my first gsd puppy from CCR and though I didn't get the puppy I have always wanted I got an amazing dog that I couldn't imagine my life without now. Chief has met my new boyfriend and Chief really likes him. Just recently got my 5th collar for Chief as he is like a bear or something and keeps breaking his collars. The few times he has gone to the vet here my vet has even noticed a huge difference in him he is so much more calm and the last time he didn't growl once which was a big thing from the previous vet if you remember than story Smile Hope you enjoy the pictures and Videos Smile Will do more updates in this thread

This was taken today at the dog park. Waiting on my "okay" to go through the gate

This is my favorite picture of him

He has a puppy face here

Running at the dog park

Waiting on a treat

He wants to go to the dog park

Ready to go to work with mommy

Sleeping with Macy

All Comfy

Playing in the back yard

Such funny ears

Digging behind the bench at the dog park. He was super tired

This was yesterday he was huffing in the AC it was so funny

Eating his first raw turkey neck

At the dog park playing hide and seek. If you look really close you can see him running around trying to find me

Waiting to see how long till he notices im not following him without me calling

Our septic went so we had to dig up half the yard, so Chief had to protect us from the big bad digger

Chief meets a new friend that helped him dig the hole behind the bench when he went to say hi to another dog

This was taken today. Chief doing a down stay

Trick Videos taken today. Now the tricks are not that impressive like a lot of shepherds but anyone that knows how Chief was when I first got him knows how hard of work we have done to get to this point. I am so proud of him.

Video again of the same tricks but this video was a goofy one. The cat kept trying to steal the treats from behind me and Chief doesnt get it all right but he tries.
