So I when I got mishka she came with a kong collar (its the one with reflective ribbon on the edges sorry phone won't post a pic) and Ive noticed that its gets loser to where she can slip through it and I end up tightening it up almost every day its a strong collar I love Kong product but it worries me that she'll chew it (she has a very bad habit of chewingleashes, harnesses etc.) Or shell lose it or get her jaw stuck under it has anyone else had this problem before

How long has she had it? Sheba has had her kong collar and leash for over a year now, and they look and function almost brand spankin' new.

Some collars wear out faster then others, I'd just get a new collar.

Get a Lupine, they have a lifetime warranty and replace them for free, even if chewed.

I have a very sturdy, buckle (like a belt buckle) nylon web collar that came from Tractor Supply. It has been on Ami continuously since Oct 9 except for brief moments when I comb his hair under the collar. Ami is strong 63 pound dog who, until recently has been on a trolley-tether most of the day (except nights) or on leash. He has given that collar a run for its money and it is still going strong! (I think the color bled a little into his fur, though.)

I like their combo collar. It's a limited slip collar, and it definitely holds Diz and is well made. I like that it doesn't have a plastic buckle. The other company I really like is nordkyn outfitters. I also have one of their limited slip collars and it is very sturdy and well made. The only thing I didn't like about it is the 1" width. I like to keep his coat in show condition (we have our first UKC altered show coming up at the end of the month), and it was messing his fur up more than I would like. If that won't bother you though, it's very well made and one of the cheapest you'll find.

I have their hiking belt too and like it a lot.

Yeah. I love my Nordkyn hiking belt. Well padded, well made and comfortable. It is a little too big for me though. I'm 5'6" 125 lbs, and its okay in the winter over a coat, but too big now. If you're small, I'd ask him to make it smaller. Smile
