Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! Question about Baths for Oakley Empty
PostSubject: Question about Baths for Oakley   Question about Baths for Oakley EmptyMon Feb 16, 2015 1:04 pm

So, I am crate training Oakley still which  it is going well he only sometimes has accidents in the crate.  He will pee in the crate and lay and roll in it and he stinks so I have to keep giving him baths and I use oatmeal shampoo but I know that your only supposed to bathe them maybe twice a year.  Are there any alternatives to giving him a bath without him smelling like a puppy that has rolled in his own pee. Mad I forgot how stinky puppies can be! sheesh Question about Baths for Oakley 1625187496 I dont want to keep giving him a bath and dry up his skin Crying or Very sad

I've seen in pet stores that they have pet bath wipes. They're essentially like wipes made for cleaning them without having to give them a full bath. Not sure how well they clean, but maybe give those a try?

Is his crate too big? I guess it strikes me funny he is 6 months and still having accidents. Ichigo got sick in his crate at night once and stood to not lay in poo till I found him. Poor baby.

When my dog use to have seizures, she would get a few bathes a month at times. I used aloe shampoo. I honestly can't imagine any good way to clean a dog full of urine besides bath. How often does it happen?
