Hey All,

So I left Titan at home with "grandma and grandpa" for 8 days while I was on vacation. I got home today to find that he has grown like a weed! His legs are taller and his torso is longer and he looks thin, although he also gained about 2 lbs! However, he has been growing about 2 lbs/per week. Titan is just now 4 months. Maybe it's because I was away for 8 days he looks so much bigger, but is this rate of growth normal for male huskies? His father was large, had some Canadian Eskimo in him as well.

Cheers!

They are freaks of nature, one minute they are teeny tiny next minute they are full grown. Has Titan's mask and coat changed any? Miya changed dramatically at that age, to the point where she was too long and heavy for me to pick up any more Crying or Very sad Now she is almost 21 months old and she is growing again. She may end up being bigger than me. affraid lol!

Yes MiyasMomma! His mask has slightly faded and his coat has actually thinned a bit - I was assuming that was for the summer weather. But it's amazing how much he changed in just 1 week!

You know, that's good to know! I was told about the frequent colour change & the ears doing wonky things, so this bit... makes sense! Lol!

Miya's coat, mask, height and weight topped out and completely changed at around 6 months. Now at almost 21 months she's growing again, although her mask and coat is staying the same. I expect massive coat blow around September or October, so get ready for the brushes, and if you do this inside a heavy duty vacuum is in order as well. Lol

definitely 100% agree with (MiyasMomma) i thought my husky Kiba was not growing at all and that he might stay small at 8 months he was bigger then the 3 year old husky my neighbor has and now at 10 months they asked me in pet-co if he was malamute so you can imagine. lol
