2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. They digest better if you feed multiple times a day. How much do you currently feed and of what?

If that's him in your avatar, he looks good to me. Husky's that come from the working lines tend to be "underweight" by most definitions - but that's completely normal for them.
While it's common for Husky's to eat what they need - to the consternation of those of us who'd like to see a little more meat on their bones - I think that what you'll find is that even if you can convince him to eat more you'll find that he has looser bowels (sloppy poop!) and that's not really a good trade-off.

Pups lean out considerably in their "teen years." If you look at some of the pictures members have posted, many of the young adult dogs are quite lean (capellalayle and mobezilla, in particular come to mind - and they are very healthy looking, very active dogs)

Al - is right on the money - last winter when I was plotzing that Ami needed more food to cope with the cold (silly Mummy Rolling Eyes ) I was feeding him 3-4 cups a day...got plenty of "pudding poop" for my efforts. However, I think my boy would eat whatever I gave him...probably until he rolled over dead from overeating

I do feed 3x a day even now...he deserves a breakfast after a night alone, he loves to eat so a late afternoon dinner is a nice break...and everyone likes a midnight snack Wink So, his ration is broken up (unequally) but for social not nutritional reasons. His poop is good, he's a happy dog, so I see no reason to change it.
