They're adorable! Looks like Elara is losing her goggles a bit?

I dunno. They seem to have a mind of their own. lol. First she really didnt' have goggles, then they got really dark, and now more red.

This was taken a while ago, so they've gotten darker since then.

But when she was really little, they were almost black. And notice her little red head. lol

And in her new born pictures from the breeder, she doesn't have goggles at all, just dark lines like tear stains.

This bear swam across the river right in front of us! We were on a pull out up a big hill where you get the best view of the wolves with a spotting scope. All of a sudden someone noticed a bear in the river down below! He crawled out and started going up the other side of the river. It's too bad I didn't get any photos of him in the river. It was really cool.

Ok, Sara....that is enough for me! I am an archer, however, just the thought of a bear within SITE scares the you-know-what out of me! (I have nightmares about bears...does anyone think I am reliving a mauling from a past life? affraid scratch )

Anyway, your babies are beautiful. Not sure who is who, but the one without the mask actually looks identical to my Vladimir when he was "dogling". So good-looking. drunken

lol. I love looking for bears and wolves in Yellowstone!

The older one w/o much of a mask is Siku and the younger one with goggles is Elara. Siku is about 1.5yrs old and Elara is 11 months old.

Some pictures from camp that I like, but didn't take.

Siku turned two on Valentines day! I love you
I'm bringing both of them to a Mardi Gras dog parade tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some pictures of that.

So cute! And I love, love your profile picture!!!

Has Elara's mask changed? I feel like Frosti's got a bit lighter but Hubby says no. Smile That last pic of her is so cute- she has the "chunky cheeks" that hubby likes to play with on Frosti! Wink hehe

I dunno. Her mask seems the same to me. She does have big cheeks! She has so much fur around her head, plus she has a wide skull! Gets that from her dad.

Her breeder got one of her brothers back. The family had a divorce and the mom took their small dogs and the husband wants to keep Silver, but he works for 3 to 4 days straight. Silver was living more at the boarding kennel than at home and they finally decided it was unfair for him. They really want to get him back and are trying to figure out what to do. The dad told his kids Silver has gone to "camp," cause they love him so much. It's such a sad situation. But now Evyenia, the breeder, has him and is excited about showing him in bred-by class. She made sure he went to a home close to her, cause she always planned on showing him. And she might send him down to me to show here in FL! There are so few male sibes being shown down here. She sent me some pictures of him too. BTW, Evyenia tried really hard to talk me into getting him instead of Elara. lol. But we wanted a female. She thought he had better show potential, but I'm happy we got Elara instead even if she doesn't do well in the show ring.

Look at that snow nose!

What a pretty boy! And they look so much alike! How long would he be with you for?

I haven't seen many huskies that look like Frosti around here so it's weird to see her brother's pic and see that they have a similar body structure, tail and even the spot on the tail! How cute!

A lot of show dogs look like Frosti and have that same tail spot! lol. His mask looks darker to me in that pic.

I dunno how long we'd have Silver for or if we are really going to get him or not. If we do it would probably be for a few months at least to make it worth it.

Went to the dog parade and meet the breed today. It was a lot of fun! Sadly I could only bring Siku, since Elara just had to go into heat this morning! Oh the joys of having an intacted dog! But Siku was an angel and loved everyone petting her. So many people stopped by to pet her and take pictures with her. Hopefully I educated a few people about the breed and what to look for in a breeder and the names of the local rescues. I met a lot of people with huskies too. And I met up with some friends and we made a scene by letting our 6 huskies jump into the big fountain! It was funny and everyone started taking pictures of them. Siku really needed it though. I was a little bit worried she had gotten over heated while walking in the parade. But she was good after that. I didn't take any good pictures, so I'm going to have to wait until my friend posts the pictures she took.

So I've been examining all of Elara's pictures and I've come to the conclusion that our two could be twins Smile And now I also think I know what Snow will look like when she gets older. Both of your babies are beautiful!

Siku and Elara look like such happy dogs! My 19 week old had the same goggles as Elara and in the last two weeks they have started to fade. Can't believe the similarities in their markings!

Awww...both your guys are cute! I got Elara from Allure siberians and her mother just had another litter (different dad), so it is possible! lol. She does have a half sister on here on her dad's side. Smile It was cool to find that out! I'll have to post a photo of Elara non related twin! lol. It's crazy how much they look the same. They do share some relatives, but different moms and dads.

Last time I checked, Siku was 45lbs and Elara was 39lbs. Siku is 23" tall at the shoulders and Elara is 20".

Yeah, that would be great! I think the Deland meet up is going to be on Sunday this weekend due to people wanting to go to that dog walk thing in Winter Park. I need to make the event for Deland!
