I figured that it's time to join the crowd and start a scrapbook for Wolf, so more veteran forum members can get to know us better. Wink

Here is wolf at about four weeks

At 8 weeks, first day home.

At 10.5 weeks.

The evening after that picture was taken, he landed wrong jumping for a toy on the dining room table..

Poor guy!!!Sad  The fracture did not break the periosteum, so it was non-displaced and did not require surgery.  Unfortunately it was too high to cast, so they said no walks, running, jumping, or playing for three weeks.  Yeah, that's a joke with a husky puppy, but it was critical for healing.  It was a long three weeks, but he 100% recovered with no ill affects.  The fracture did not enter the physis, so he didn't have any issues with growth in that limb.

More pictures to come!

What in the world did you do with him for 3 weeks? Yikes.

Now for some recent pics.  I was babysitting Wolf's friend Kovu, so I took them on a hike.  Kovu is about 2 years old. I love the last pic!

Graham, don't be surprised if he keeps that blue ring. My girl still has it, and Jimmy's Kohdi(Artic_Wind) still has it. I thought there was something wrong with her eyes, lol, but I guess it must be a unique trait that some have. Smile Might explain why I thought his eyes are amazing, it's really hard to pick up in pics, Jimmy has a pic of Kohdi where you can see it quite well, but in most pics even with Miya, it just makes their eyes an off brown, and different.....interesting Very Happy

It's hard to tell in his early pictures, but his eyes were a blue/green color. Then they turned hazel, and slowly became brown. I haven't looked closely recently, but the blue ring seems smaller. Still there, though. I think this is their final color.

Earlier this evening Wolf was being obnoxious. I was in the other room and noticed he got quiet, which usually means he's being naughty. However, when I went to check on him I found this:

Sound asleep with his toys, including his favorite squeaky cucumber.
