yeah? ok that makes me feel better because she does snap at him like she's getting frustrated with him and sometimes bites him hard and I have to intervene. It's just that I'm new at having 2 of them so I'm not sure if it's playful or not..lol

it does seem that mya is kinda over kody but there's probably an age difference, ya? if not there's an energy difference as kody seems to have WAY more of it (in this video, at least). i suspect, if you wear kody out the level of frustration mya feels will diminish greatly.

regardless.... HILARIOUS how mya talks and lays her head on the floor doing it. so. funny!

Definitely an age difference! Mya is going to be 5 years old in March and Kody will be 5 months next week. So yeah, he totally annoys her!!! It's funny how she reacts to him though, but I hate that he wants to play and she wants to relax. Don't get me wrong....she does play with him when she's in the mood, but he can go go go go! As long as it's not her being aggressive with him then I'm ok with it.

i totally understand the fear of aggression but i think it's as simple as an adult telling a rambunctious adolescent how to properly behave and the youngin' having to get a little smack to drive the point home because, let's face it, kids don't LISTEN!!!

i think sibe's just don't have aggressive bones in their bodies (unless they were conditioned to act in such a way) and you shouldn't worry... mya is just being the stern mama (with a cute voice!!)!

Mya can be a bit of a b**ch some times. She has an attitude problem. My husband says she's the typical female..lol. It's funny that you say that she's just being a stern mama because just 2 minutes ago Kody was attacking my robe trying to play (pulling at it and tugging). I told him no a few times and he wasn't listening when she got up from under the table and snapped at him a little and growled like saying "leave mommy's robe alone Kody!". Needless to say he stopped. I was like "thanks Mya" LOL

Ha! She's being quite gentle with her advances there. When my dogs tell young Kosmo to stop doing something, it usually involves an actual attack and pinning to the ground. Then he pees himself and all is quiet for a bit. Kody is never gonna let up if that's how she talks to him. I would personally start to interfere with his actions towards her after 20 seconds or so (mainly because of her eyes, and I HATE sounding like one of those people). As he gets bigger and bolder, one day he might not retreat and that will be interesting.

You know what....you're totally right!!! Her eyes do look like she isn't too happy and when he's older and doesn't back away from her that might not be pretty =\ I'll stop him when he starts getting annoying like that more often. I mean, I do tell him to leave her alone when she's sleeping or if she's really upset and I know that she might snap at him bad. I don't want her to feel pressured into playing with him. She plays when she wants. Little dude is driving her up the wall I'm sure!!!
