I posted in the general topic about going to pick up my little guy on Saturday, but forgot to introduce myself.

Hi! My name is Mimi, I'm from Houston. I'm adopting a cute little boy husky mix on Saturday Smile.

This is a picture of him from his foster parents.

Greetings from Houston! M110

And two years down the line, you'll have a 50 pound "Hey Puppy!!" on your hands!

So, where'r the pictures of the homecoming??

I do the same thing, if a dog I acquire has a name I almost always leave it at that; if the dog doesn't have a name then I wait and see what comes with the personality.

My last lab was impossible to name, she was a great dog but nothing that stuck out - she eventually became "Kalah" which is Hindi for black.

Here are a few pictures Smile He's been doing well at home, getting used to everyone. Poor guy was scratching himself a lot and chewed on himself so we took him to the vet yesterday. He has a few rash spots so they gave him cream and medication. Then last night when we took him out, he came back in with ants on him! I didn't even see where the ant bed was Sad Other than that, he's doing really well. My daughter wanted to name him Peanut Butter and Jelly... then she wanted to name him every name she could think of from SpongeBob, then the cast of Ninja Turtles, but we settled on Boomy. We named him after King Boomy on Avatar the Last Air Bender Smile

Okay, so I'm an old fart "Boomey"?? << laughing >> You're gonna regret that when he becomes a full grown boomer (a boomer, if you don't know is a Ballistic Missile Submarine!)

Ants, etc - it'll get better as his belly gets further away from the ground; then you'll just have to contend with all the stuff that's off the ground that he can get into!

He looks like a happy pup in those last couple of pictures and I really want to see what his colour eventually works out to.
