I recently just got Cuba, a 8 weeks old little pup, who isn't husky, as he is a mongrol (As much as i hate that word) he is a Husky Mixed Akita,

When he arrived he had Bright blue eyes, and i have noticed they becoming more white than blue, don't get me wrong, Their still beautiful but i'd love for him to keep bright blue for as long as possible, I read up that the main health concern with this crossbreed is their eyes, and I was just wondering what methods do you guys and girls use to clean your pups eyes? how often do you do it, and how do you get them to sit still as you do it (I am still trying to teach him to sit ect he understands to sit, but then will move soon as you go to groom him) and is their any reason is eyes may begin to lose colour? (I know they tend to go whiter the older they get)

Do you mean cleaning the little gunk that comes out near the corners? Gently wipe it away with a clean damp wash cloth. If they're getting a milky look to them at this age I would ask the vet about that. If he were older I would say cataracts but definitely not in a puppy. As far as just keeping good eye health make sure he gets some omega 3 as that helps with eye development.

His eyes shouldn't really change much, at 8+ weeks old the base color should be set in. Now they might lighten to an ice blue, so maybe a white-ish blue, but basic color should be set. Kinda like Danielle's Loki who posted above me, not so much a deep sapphire blue, but more like an ice blue. So I agree with Danielle, if they are more white than blue I would take him to the vet, to rule out any problems.

They are far more blue than white, and He will be visiting the vet very soon just to make sure everything is fine / get him in their books ect and talk about possible training classes to take him too, Thanks for the help.
