2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Hi Everyone! I am new to this forum, but not new to huskies. I have an (almost) 3 year old female husky named Kai and a 13 week old male husky named Mako (formerly Chewbacca). Kai is a rescue and Mako is from a racing kennel in Maine. I am very excited to join this forum and hear from other husky owners!!

Welcome to the forum. It is always interesting to see how litter mates grow and develop compared to each other. Ever so often we get the opportunity to. A little over a year ago we got to see another couple litter mates from a race kennel grow into quite the individuals as two members from here raised them. Post lots of pictures. We love to see them as they grow. He is a wonderful looking pup. Very striking line we noticed when we were introduced to Rey (Leia) earlier on.

Whoopsies....I was on a different computer earlier that doesn't allow me to view pics on this forum. Now that I'm on my cell, your pups are so cute! I agree with Mark hah, you can train Mako to retrieve a steak for you to go with that beer.

OMG I am speechless! When you commented on Rey's Instagram picture, I knew I would find you here! I've been constantly thinking about how the other pups in the litter turned out. Words can't express how excited and happy I am to see another pup from the same litter! Mako is adorable! How is he getting along with his new pack? I would love to hear how your past month with Mako has been!

PS: welcome!!!!

Thanks for all the welcomes! I will post a million pictures. Smile I am very curious to see how the two turn out... hopefully the other litter mates make their way to this forum!

I doubt the beer/steak would make it to me! Its hard enough getting him to not try to eat everything in sight.

Dan - I was so happy to see Reys picture on this forum! I have been thinking about the other pups and if they're just as stubborn (and adorable) as Mako. He is getting along great with my other husky. They have scuffles every now and then, but if we separate them for longer than 5 minutes they howl and howl and howl. Mako is extremely vocal and so smart. He learned sit, leash walking, and potty training within the first few days. I can tell he is going to be a very hard headed husky though. My friends call him the gremlin because he does what he wants and screams if you try to stop him from doing something. How has Rey been??
