| I am looking into either building or buying a cart this spring so that I can run the girls. Does anyone own one? Have you ever built one? |

| I'd love to hear info on building one if anyone has any or if you find any building plans. My hubby would rather build a cart himself for running our sibe than buy one. He's one of those do it yourself-ers on stuff like that. I haven't found any DIY dog cart plans online to go off of as a starting point but I have been brainstorming on my own for a while. I'll be following this thread with interest. _________________ ~~Val~~

| I have been saving pictures of different ones I like, I just can't justify spending 1,000 - 2,000 on one! |

| I have an old Risdon Rig I bought used last winter. I've heard that building a cart can cost as much as buying one but that might not always be true. I suggest asking around on the sled dog central forum--I know people over there have built their own. IMO, the best way to go is to buy used. Sled dog central also has a classified page and something might pop up there.

| I just found this site: http://www.k9carting.com/ You can harness up to 2 dogs at once, no where near as expensive as the other places I've looked. |

Nice selection and I like the bigger diameter wheels as they'll be better when off road. |
