You don't say Charles whether you've changed his food from Purina Puppy Chow or what you might have changed it to.  What result did you see when you gave him the pumpkin? Typically a dog eats grass when it has an upset stomach.

We aren't there with you and your pup so we have to depend on you to give us some help by telling us what you've done.  Simply a visit to the vet isn't going to help a lot if he's on a bad food or if you're feeding him too much or ....

ok sorry no result came from the pumpkin and I did change his food to grain free kibbles puppy food and I was feeding him 3 times a day I give him about 1 cup of food each time so I dropped it down to 1/2 cup 3 times a day to see if there was any change and there wasn't

Ack...feel sorry for you Charles.....what exactly are you feeding? Treats and all? I am sorry if you posted it somewhere and I do not remember...If the vet has cleared him of issues like worms or parasites, then more than likely it is the food or treats you are feeding.

Sometimes I will catch Lutsen eating grass when I'm working in the yard. We feed him the recommended amount a day and give him treats...sometimes i just think that's what he likes to do when he's curious or bored. Whenever he starts to dig or chew grass I know its time to go for a long walk...usually does the trick!
