Sierra looks good, Jennifer, she really does. Seeing those incisions though, oh my goodness, poor thing Sad and Jack! Sad poor guy, he's worried about his little sister. Sad

Do we know any thoughts on the masses they removed yet?

really crappy cell pic but Sierra got up on her own last night and wanted to see what i was doing in the kitchen! this was the first time she got up on her own. we have more laser therapy tomorrow morning, she is not really touching the foot down yet.  As for her masses, they were the non spreading kind of tumor, but if left would grow, and on her neck we did not want to chance both of them. we did not send out for more testing.
You can't even see those 2 as her fur covers them, they did a good job not shaving to much for those.
im going to reduce the pain meds over the weekend to see if she will eat more, she was on them the last week but only 2X's a day, we have been trying to do every 4hrs since the surgery.

Now that's a really encouraging picture!! It's good to see the little lady back on her feet - even if it is only three of them for the time being.

Jack has a "How can we play when she's in that cone of shame?" look on his face ....

One week post OP, can't keep this "Old" gal down!

Sierr's ACL surgery and her recovery AND NOW THE OTHER KNEE - Page 2 20160816

Her leg is looking so much better, just small bruising left around the stitches. I knew it was swollen but now that it has gone down i can see how bad it really was Sad she is using the leg now, still with us holding a towel under her for support, need to be careful! But she is walking with it and putting it down to stand.
She is pooing again, i know how we all are with poop Wink and i was getting worried when she was not going!

back to the vet tomorrow for laser treatment

So yesterday was 3 weeks post OP and man is this girl doing good!
look how happy she is Smile

Sierr's ACL surgery and her recovery AND NOW THE OTHER KNEE - Page 2 20160910

we are up to very slow 15 min walks, that would normally take us about 5-7 min to walk, hard to keep her slow!
We are doing Chiropractic treatments on her now to help even her out and hopefully prevent the other knee from blowing.

Last night Ken had a snack in bed and it was enough to get her to jump on the bed from the dog bed, she is not aloud to be jumping! but she laid on top of me Smile

She's looking really good Jennifer, compared to that sad dog with a cone, her and that ball just looks like "Oh, c'mon mom, I'm feeling *good*!"

The vets stitchery looks good, like it's healing well. Always good to see things come out right ....

Oy, that's so stressful. Hopefully it's nothing serious and just a little sensitive. Have you called the vet at all about it?
