Hi, my husky is 5 1/2 months old and it is female. I want to ride on my bicycle with her on my side (maybe pulling or just running next to me).
Is this a agood age for her to start doing this? If not, when should I start doing so?

You certainly can start right now (keeping a few things in mind). First thing I would keep in mind is soft surfaces. Try to avoid concrete, pavement and surfaces that intensify impact. With a dog that young I would work on building up to a real bike ride over a few months. There's a lot of "no running until age 2" stuff all over the place, and it's one of those things people can't agree on. Personally I would start out with the dog on the side and riding only as fast as she can trot. I also wouldn't go much further than a mile or so, depending on how the dog feels. If she's laying down you've gone too far (or it's hot) and you should try to shorten that distance the next ride. You'll have to watch VERY closely for any changes and soreness with a youngin' like that, they don't show it much.
Treat it like you would yourself. A few days a week at first and building up from there. I just build up more slowly for a dog under 18 months.
Oh, and welcome to the forum!

Hi, thanks for your answer. Were you talking about her running by my side or pulling me?

He's talking about running by your side. A 5 month old is too young to do a lot of running. I'd wait until she is about a year to start that up and wait until she's two to start having her pull you. You don't want to stress their joints as puppies, cause it will cause problems down the road.
