So my german shepherd puppy didn't bite as much and never really went after our legs. With the husky puppy if I get up and walk away from her biting my hands puppy she attacks my legs. I am pretty sure she thinks walking away is part of the game. I am also sure I have at some point reinforced this behavior but I don't have a clue how. Replacing with a toy doesn't work for more than a few seconds. She also grabs hold of clothing your are wearing to pull on but won't pull much on toys. I am at a loss what to do. I don't want to use harsh punishment or corrections I want to be assertive but not mean. She is 13 weeks old and already 20.5 pounds I was hoping to stop this before she gets to big for me to handle. I will try anything aside from hurting my puppy.
Also I would be happy to read responses of other people with similar questions so if you could provide me with appropriate search terms I would be grateful. Thanks!

If you type biting into the search function you will get a plethora of information. It's pretty common, especially if you got your puppy young. Mental stimulation can help. doing training and teaching different commands. Some pups have too much energy and while we always put a lot of emphasis on physical exercise the mental exercise is just as important and can get you good results in the energy department. When they are young you really can't go overboard with physical exercise lest you risk hurting growing joints. I would work on really putting her through her paces with her training and if she is still being bad with some things you can use that training to put her in a time out when she does wrong. Sit and stay until she calms down. Huskies have a high prey drive so if you've ever encouraged her to chase you around the yard or "come on" to follow you then that could trigger it, but for the most part it's just a common thing they go through.

Thanks for the suggestions and sorry about the poor grammar in the first post. We did get her at 6 weeks instead of 8. She is good with some of her commands she has been learning in puppy school. So I will try to keep treats/food on me and randomly go into training mode if she is acting up. She doesn't know stay yet but we are working on it. I am glad it is normal and I just have to find something that works and stay consistent.
