2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Hello guys. I’m new in the forum thanks for the add. Yesterday I got a new puppy. The owner told me that he had the nkc papers and that he was pure. I just want to know if there is any way to tell if he is legitimate. He is 10 weeks and weight 10 pounds. He looks underweight. Thank you so much for the help Is my husky a mix? 8b972910

He looks pure to me, and not underweight. He's beautiful. Congratulations! DNA tests are the only way to know for sure, outside of buying from a reputable breeder.

Thanks!! He is super playful. I just thought that he was under weight because I was checking the size chart for his age and he is supposed to be over 14 pounds. I wasn’t sure if he was pure bc of his colors.

He's adorable. Puppies will grow at varying rates, Huskies are pretty lean in the first place and until they're about two years old, can look pretty scrawny at times. My two are pretty fluffy, so it's harder to tell when they might be underweight, or overweight for that matter. Shorter coats are much easier to tell, but also have many thinking they should eat more when in fact, they're pretty perfect.

<< laughing >> Colour is the last thing that might indicate a Husky!!  Take a look at this link and scroll down. You'll find yours under "pinto" (which is a pattern, not a colour) but you'll get the idea.

Puppies grown at amazingly different rates. While it's unusual to see one who's a tiny pup become a monster adult; it's not unusual for one who starts off small end up roughly the same size as his siblings. From your side picture (and thanks for giving different views, it really helps) he looks like he could stand another pound or so but he's not underweight.

Thanks for the help !! I’m currently using this to feed them. Is it good for them or should I change it?
