Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. | The perfect theme to end the year.
While I can't speak for everyone here, Ashleigh, I would like you to consider not sitting this month out. Considering what you have been through, and are still going through, I think it would be a wonderful tribute to Mishka if you share an awesome memory, captured in a pic, and enter it in this months HOTM. This years HOTM has had its ups and downs and rules bent as necessary to keep it going, one more month having a rule bent is not going to matter. please consider it. |

| @HuskyLear I'd crop the first one and go with that - it's so typical and a really great "black and white" shot. _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford . |

| Awww, Ashleigh, all your pics capture his personality...I know what you are saying though. My favorite pic of Malukhai isn't the perfect picture with the perfect background, but it's how I remember him best, just being him. It's in a frame in my room.
I love these pictures. One of my personal favorites was his Christmas pic from a couple years ago with the lights behind him. |

| Memories - I've tried to avoid this but my first Husky has a very special place in my heart. I Can't decide which of these most represents my love ... She wasn't rwally being hanged, I had a friend of mine hold her leash and she jumped just as I flashed ... At my girlfriends, setting in *my* chair!! Shortly after we moved to the desert - I never was able to find where she found enough water to make a muddy dog!! Just an old half-barrel flower pot that just fit ... Which should I submit .... _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford . |

| Oh, @amymeme, it does indeed. She was as nutty as a fruitcake. When I respond to everyone here about letting their dogs off lead with "She was a great dog, came home every time I called - until one time she didn't!" it's because she's one of the few dogs who really made a big dent in my heart. All of these pictures, in one way or another, show some aspect of her personality - and, man, she had plenty of personality! I remember one time I went looking for her - not around the trailer ... then she stuck her head up out of that tub. Coulda killed her but had to grab a handful of lovin' dog instead! Memories bring tears but over time they've become tears of remembering the good things, the fun times ... ;( _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford . |
