| Sabaka has been with us for nearly 3 months and today marks the beginning of another life change.
Today I AM a husky owner!!
One might ask if I did not feel like a true husky owner when being pulled down the street on what my Mother-in-Law calls a "dog drag"....
What about when strangers stop to admire my husky, the rock star....
Maybe it should have been his charming blue eyes that made me realize that I am a new husky owner....
Perhaps I should have caught on when my puppy was the most hyper dog in puppy class - always loving life and every human, dog or other live creature in sight....
But HERE is the REAL thing that sets husky owners apart from most all other dog owners... and it began for me in earnest today.... (pic to follow) |

| Buahahaha!! We "harvested" this from under the fridge AFTER having cleaned/vacuumed/shampooed carpets, then doing a full sweep and mop. | I love it!! You guys really make me feel good! Now I'm anxious to show you under my fridge next year, the legs of my black yoga pants, my kitchen floor full of hair and maybe even that sweater I should be knitting!!
You really know that this is my least favorite part of sharing my home with a husky, right? I'm trying to be positive here... |

| both of mine are finishing up blowing coat, i dropped them off at the groomers on wednesday morning, wish i would've taken pics of the fur all over the room when i picked them up  |

How funny I have the exact same vacuum (which died after having it for 2 monts) and the same brush (I think it's a furminator?) oh and yeah....the exact same amount of hair from Mya. She's blowing her coat nasty! |

| Mine are just now starting. I with you Claudia...I brush them outside so I don't have to deal with it in the house. I probably shouldn't, I don't know that my neighbors love finding husky fur in their yard. Last year I saw a bird pick up some of Dakota's fur, I assume for a nest, while I was outside brushing him. |
