Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to show my pup that I am his owner when he spends his days around my parents while I’m at work until I get home. He understands that he’s with me during the afternoons and nights but since he’s 9 weeks old I’m afraid he might be taking to my father more than he is to me. |

| I found that the one who interacts the most usually becomes regarded as the “One”...
- the one who trains - the one who goes on walks - the one who plays ( tug, chase, fetch) - the one who gives treats and chews - the one who feeds
If you are the one to do most of those things, I think you will be regarded as a VIP by your pup!

| You be the one to spend as much time as possible with him... fun time. Training time. You free him before you leave and when you get home. You take him for walks (but at 2 months of age, only 10 minutes on hard surface leash.
That being said, Huskies tend not to be one person dogs. They love everyone. |

| yes, Amy is right!
Mine is half German shepherd and I am his One person, with everybody else a distant second. He will not obey commands from other people, and does not like to be petted by strangers. I think that must be the German shepherd side coming out in my dog.
I thought huskies must have a favorite person too...but yes, maybe not! |
