Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

PostSubject: Baby Doesn't want to be Left Alone?   Baby Doesn't want to be Left Alone? EmptyMon Jan 13, 2020 4:13 pm

Hello again. So, I've been trying to find some videos on this topic and haven't been very successful. I know Baby is still new to the house, but every time I get up, she thinks that we are going to go outside or that I am going to leave or something. She gets up off the bed and follows me wherever I have to go in the house. Is this normal for Huskies or is Baby just paranoid about being left alone?

Mine do that when they are bored. They did it too when we first moved in for the first few months but now it's boredom and them hoping that I will either feed them or take them for a walk if they look pathetic enough.

Spider does that to both me and my husband. I worry when she doesnt do it and starts hovering over jerry because that means a seizure is coming.

One that does and one that doesn't. Z'ev, my Velcro boy. Drives me up a tree. Doesn't help that, because of settling, the door from the kitchen to the laundry room does not suut fully and Z'ev apparently has opposable thumbs, opens the door quite efficiently, he does Rolling Eyes I've ditched boyfriends (in the distant, distant past) for similar behavior Razz

Mine does it too. 24/7 surveillance...
His greatest fear: my human might leave the house without me noticing!!!

He stopped changing rooms so much when he figured out that there is one corner of the house where he can lay and observe the kitchen, living, upstairs and front hall/front door all at once! He spends a lot of time in that spot, with his head pointed at the area where I am at the moment.  Very Happy
