So I'm going to be in the Orlando area in a few days, and I'm looking for interesting things to do. Not tourist traps or usual vacation attractions like theme parks, I'll be dragged to those by my parents on their own accord. I'm looking for things that I could do on my own. I'm not 21, so bars are out. Specifically, if anyone knows of any good driving roads near Orlando, I'd be very interested in hearing about them. Otherwise, anything you can suggest I'm open to suggestion.

Kennedy Space Center is about 40min drive. Shuttle is going up on Friday.

Even though I haven't been here many of my friends have and they say that the natural springs are awesome!

I hear the orange county courthouse is a pretty happening spot right now. Should be an interesting place to be on Thursday.

Won't be there in time for the launch unfortunately. Looking more for popular places for people around my age (18-20)...Preferably girls...

Boy you're not making it easy. Orlando doesn't have much besides the attractions. If you want a popular hangout where there will be ladies your age I'd try visiting Tampa or Daytona which are not too far a drive from Orlando. The beaches at both should be packed with college vacationers. Any place close to UCF in Orlando or USF in Tampa should contain a fair amount of vacationing college students as well. I went to both colleges and lived in both cities. Tampa is a way better vacation spot than Orlando if you're not in it for overpriced theme parks. Check out the water parks, they should have a decent young crowd your age. Oh and there are husky meet up groups in both Tampa and Orlando, Len, no need to drive to the craziness that is Miami for that. Razz
