What is your dogs grooming schedule? Do they like it? What brushes work best for you? Do you have any tips to reduce shedding? Do you own stock in a lint roller company lol! hehe jk! I just brushed Killian for the last hour with a metal comb because I wanted to wait to get brushes until I had some opinions - the good news: angel dog loves being brushed Very Happy when I stopped she came up and nosed my hand as if to say, 'Please more!'

I posted a while back and asked about brushes. It seems the majority owns 3 different kinds (furminator/furbuster, undercoat rake, and a shedding blade) and they use them all. Here's the link to what everyone said: http://www.itsahuskything.com/t2079-new-owner-here

We use slicker brushes and an undercoat rake. That combined with a zoomgroom at bath time keeps them well brushed and probably as light shedding as they'll ever be lol

Thanks so much Very Happy and a zoom groom in the bath is a great idea! Any specific shampoo. I also meant grooming as in anything like perhaps your dogs have a nail trim schedule and you use a specific tool or you brush their teeth or you have a great toy that keeps them clean Smile any grooming gold?

For me once a week I trim the very ends of their nails off unless for some reason it needs more. It takes less time that way and there's no way to trim off too much. I also don't brush their teeth but I give them a frozen raw marrow bone once a week. I let them chew on it for about an hour a day. I can buy a bag of 6 here at a local specialty pet food store for $7. I use baking soda dog shampoo or just baby shampoo when needed, Demon's only been bathed probably 3 times and he's 9 months old lol.

Furminator, undercoat rake, furminator shampoo (great conditioner!) and either washing them in a hydrosurge tub at the dog wash (the shower heads is high pressure and pushes out a ton of undercoat hair) and using the high powered dryer to get undercoat hair out.

Still...there is a ton of hair!
