last weekend we headed up to the mountains for a weekend with the dogs and stayed at Flintlock campground. The tent sites where pretty descent and on a mountain stream but where a little close to other sites in my opinion. So once we unloaded the jeep and set up everything we decided to go for a quick hike. When we came back we noticed a few yellow jackets buzzing around and didnt think much of it until i found a HUGE NEST IN THE GROUND I got the dogs back and went straight to the office. Since we had this prob they ended up giving us 2 campsites for added room and the trouble of moving. It worked out well and we had more room for the dogs to rome on there tie outs.

That's pretty good getting the yellow jacket compensation package. Milo looks like he's going to jump out of his own eyeballs!

I love Boone...well I love the whole area up there. I camped up there once (tent camping for Thanksgiving...Shania complained it was cold). The campground we stayed at had carved bears at the gate.

Oh hey you're not to far from me! We should have a doggy play date. I can't wait to take my Faolan camping and hiking Gotta wait until he is older though.

Couldn't make it camping this summer but we're definitely going next summer and taking the boys with us. We're going to have to buy a suv first lol.
