So I get off work today at 5:30, take the first bus and get to my connecting bus at 6:00. I didn't notice that the bus took a different route until it was already too late.
But whatever, I wait for another 40mins before I realize this bus isn't coming - and finally piece together that there is a Santa Parade (WHY i have no clue, its still early November. >_>) The parade is blocking any hope of me getting a bus or walking home unless i find a way to get past it.

As I find a break in the crowd (and the parade wasn't moving), I'm about to cross when some idiot who wasn't paying attention clocked me in the face. Huff. He didn't even apologize, just laughed.

That was only the beginning of my night. I didn't get home until 10:30, when normally it would've only taken a little over an hour to get home.

Point being - since when is it acceptable to punch people and not apologize?

whata jerk!! I would have "accidentally" punched him back... It amazes me how people can be so rude...

12 years of martial arts and I would have instinctively punched him back... That's total BS that not only did he not apologize but that he laughed too. I would have found a cop and pressed charges. What is our society coming to?

I would rip his head off his shoulders if this would happen to me. Well accidents can happen but not apologizing and laughing instead would put me in the red zone.

I was having such a horrible night, at that point I wasn't even sure I was really AWAKE, forget being able to punch back.

He effectively managed to stop me from getting my Starbucks though. Had to settle for McDonalds. Bah.

Surprisingly, I guess, that wasn't even the thing that annoyed me most about my night (being punched, that is) -- I was more upset that Santa wasn't even fat. He was MAYBE 200pounds on a tall guy, thats not Santa one bit. Humph.

I must be too passive or something, I just kinda glared and went on my horrible night from there. >_>;;
