What should I name her?

Ok, so I have narrowed down some names for the new girl. Opinions?

Avi - pronounced Ahhvi

Ava – too human?

Kia – just because it’s close to Mya

Wow this is a hard one! I like Avi and Kia, but I like Avi more I think Very Happy

Oh, and we pronounce Mya as "Maya". We spelled it Mya after the singer..lol. Hmmm, now you got me thinking...do a lot of people pronounce Mya as "Mia" or "Maya"? Razz

lol Navi doesn't mind sharing her name if that's what you want! I also like Avi. I always thought Rhea was a very pretty name too (pronounced Ray-ah).

I like Ava, that's Embrys sister name. It's really cute. His other sisters name is Sakari Smile

I like Ava because it is kinda short for Evergreen (Avagreen) and you have a Willow already. I know my mind thinks in different ways.

Well if you won't use Shithead then I guess Kia would work. Then you could call her Rondo or Optima, maybe even Sportage or Sorrento at times.

Umm....wellll, I decided on a name but not one that's not listed. I was going to go with Avi but then I looked up the meaning and it so does not fit! It means "Father of Many" LOL! I kept trying out all the names on her but they just didn't seem right. I went back to some names website and I wanted something fun and easy to say, so I decided on Piper!

Congrats! I like piper! And you shouldnt have any problems with a ne change Appa learned his new name in literally 20 minutes. It was originally Kingston, so they didn't even sound close. Within a few days he stopped responding to Kingston completely.

Thanks everyone! Piper just seems to fit her. She did so good last night again. She let me sleep all night without a peep. I got her out to go potty and she acted like she wanted to sleep some more! Her and WIllow have done some romping around this morning so she is warming up. Unfortanely, she is warming up to chewing too! I've been stopping her in the act so lets hope she catches on quick!

ok so im a little late, but i was reading through and wanted to ask, how did you 'teach' appa his name? i have no idea if my 8 week old knows his name is Luka - sometimes i call him and he comes running, other times - he has seen a leaf blowing in the wind and you'd think he's deaf.
