| This is what usually happens. Some days he's way more in to it than others...
Sorry for the jumpiness....

| Hilarious!! Just like our first husky!
Sabaka, on the other hand, must be part retriever. We were pleasantly surprised to find that he fetches! He just forgets to stop sometimes when he gets back to you with the ball and plows into your legs... strange dog!! lol!
Appa's so handsome! |

| is that park near you? those homes look really cool! Appa is funny, hes like yeah i see it, so what.....
there are few sibs that i know play fetch.... jack will go get the ball sometimes but never brings it back or stops half way and drops it. sierra like to play catch and you can stand there and toss the ball to her and she will jump and get it.

| Yeah, that's the park closest to our house. It's dubbed "the zip-line park" because of the zip line you can see on the right hand side of the video.
We love the architecture of our neighborhood, bright, colorful, and some very modern homes.
Some days Appa will pick it up and run around with it like he's captured some great prize, he'll run toward us, then right by us. That is, if he manages to not drop it by the time he gets to us. My favorite is sometimes the frisbee flips up over his muzzle and covers his eyes, and he just keeps running blind.
We're working on teaching Appa to catch. You can toss food or toys straight at his face and he just lets them smack him in the nose then he picks it up off the ground. There's no attempt to catch whatsoever.

| We taught both of our dogs "catch" by throwing light, "floaty" things. I think we used popcorn to teach our first girl but that was rather "hard on her system", if you get my drift. We were young and stupid...
We used pieces of ripped up stuffed animals to teach Sabaka. The pet stores sell some kind of dog popcorn that we have never tried. Who knows, it might just be real popcorn re-packaged for dogs... |

| LOL That's what my games of "fetch" are like too. It's always me fetching whatever toy we're playing with. My boy just likes the thrill of the chase, but I don't mind as long as it gets him running. This version ensures we both get our exercise. _________________ ~~Val~~

| Frankie is usually really good with fetch, brings it back and everything and to my surprise is pretty good at catching too. This past week he has been so funny. He found a tennis ball in my room and actually brought it over to me and rolled to my feet to get me play. This ball has become like a securtiy blanket, he has been carrying it everywhere with him. I found him sleeping with it the other day. Occasionally Bruiser takes it from him and he just pouts until he can snag it back. He is in love with a ball I saw this on FB this morning and immediately thought of this thread..... |

| Hilarious pic Dee!! Braiden and Max are both fetch crazy. They would fetch until they drop if I let them. They will even go over jumps to fetch. Skyla prefers to tackle whichever dog gets the ball. She doesn't care about the ball...just wants to nail whoever has it lol. |

| Yep that just my old girl, she use to do same when she was young, I would throw a ball she would chase it then drop and walk away. Totally not a fetch dog. Its so funny to watch, amazing how huskies are like that |

| This is cracking me up! For years, I've thought Keimo was crazy. When we played fetch one of three things usually happened: 1. He'd let the ball bonk him on the head instead of catching it. 2. He'd catch the ball then drop it and walk away. 3. He'd catch the ball and run away with it, then chew on it until it exploded. Some huskies just don't fetch that well. lol |
