Subject: Maturity or just lucky? Tue Dec 13, 2011 8:56 pm
My 3-year old Juno came out of heat about 3 weeks ago. Since then, she has been a completely different dog. Very calm, walks right beside me when we go out, no tussling or wrestling with the other dogs, doesn't want to go out as much----almost docile. This is a complete 360 from about a 5 weeks ago. Is this a sign of maturity (finally) or am I experiencing some behavior that is associated with coming out of heat?

I'd guess lucky.
Never read about that before but it might just be temporary until her hormones balance out again.
PS: do her and yourself a favor get her fixed.
