| I find myself obsessed with just looking at them.  I searched everywhere on this forum...and can't find a post just for husky colors. Is there one? If not, could we start one? Suppose that could go under scrapbook, sort of, but was hoping for something along the lines of information on the different colors. For example....I've googled it to death but have yet to find a picture of a jet black husky. Not a black and white, or mostly back with white paws, etc, but one that I heard described in a book. "The jet black husky should be all black on top, with the under coat being of black or dark grey fur." Hmmm....??? |

| i guess most of us have always just googled it to see the diff. colors offered. it seems the sibs have the WIDEST selection of colors out there for dogs.
we could start a list here of pictures or just links to where we like to look at all the colors.... _________________  |

| Forget the owners name but she is owned by "Kitty" (?) who I believe is an all black Husky. |

| Yes, I just google it too, but it would be awesome to have a collection here of sibes we have seen, know of, etc. where we can post them. Ooooh...would love to see an all black one |

Yep Kitty owns me and is black with some white on the belly and on her feet. There are some good full body pics under Luka and Kitty's scrap book. She was really dark as a puppy and lightened up a bit in the face with age. Would post a link but I'm on my phone and can't figure out how, just search for it in the scrapbook section. Never seen a solid black. One of Kitty's relatives has more black than her, but still has a little white. I love her color, even though people don't believe that she is a sibe! Kitty's mom is an even rarer color, solid red/brown with white feet.
The description for jet black is just saying that the undercoat should be dark gray or black. The undercoat is just the softer hair under the guard hairs. This combo of black guard hairs and dark guard hairs just makes the coat look darker. It doesn't mean the dog will be black all over, just that the majority of the coat should meet the described criteria.
I LOVE all the color varieties huskies come in! I would love to have one of every color if I could! |

| That would be pretty cool to do an info page with our Huskies with the colors they are in a chart form.. hmmmm...maybe I should pull out my photoshop lol |
