Got Kale all scheduled for boarding at a vet clinic that I don't work for They have "pampered" suites that have a TV, a complimentary bath on the day of release and a WEBCAM! so that I can look in at him online whenever I want to! How cool is that?!? I'll be in SoCal for my cousin's wedding Feb 25. I feel much more comfortable about leaving him there than at my work. Is that bad? lol http://www.montevistavet.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=120&Itemid=141

We have a place like that near me that I left my Dalmatians at a couple years ago and had great experience with! I love the option of having the webcam and being able to call whenever to check on them! Kale should have a blast!! Do they have puppy play time too during the day?

Unfortunately no. It's a vet office so they don't have that option. I wanted to take him to Top Notch in Modesto to play and board, but they discourage bringing your own food and it cost like $10 extra to fed them home brought food... f-ing stupid. I hope he'll be better here. Last time he came home from boarding at my work he was extremely possessive over his toys and food, and his attitude was off. I think this will be a better fit

They are so funny like that! They told me the same thing, but I had to pay the extra fee, because they are on a special diet 9 days cost me $1,300 for 2 dogs in the same room! I was like FML my hotel didn't even cost that for my vacation! enjoy guys lol ... But they had a great time, but it sucked because EVERYTHING was extra ... I wanted my female Dalmatian (Sophie) to go swimming and they charged me $45! If they stayed over 4 days they are required to give them a bath, which was $30 each! Place was crazyness ....

Ouch!! Jeez that's crazy! For 9 nights, for 2 dogs, bath included after 3 nights (free), and you are encouraged to bring your own food... We'd only charge $729! And that's with daycare with the other dogs during the day!
I can't understand why these places put on such a stink about feeding their own food. Probably because they're lazy. _________________ Cheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! Join our facebook meetup group! Visit our Photostream on Flickr! |

yeah it was pretty nuts ... they have a pet store in the resort too and will take you're dog on a "shopping spree" and when you pick you're dog up, you are charged with whatever you're dog picks out lol ... i'm like wtf??? no shopping spree's for y'all! i just looked on their website and now they have a limo-van that will pick you're dog(s) up from you're house and drop them off and do spa days etc ... that's crazy stuff they offer!
