got layla a nice big bed for christmas, and she loves it, but mayb a bit too much.

when she is inside and we need to get her outside , we will pet her a bit the gently grab her collar to guide her out. the problem is a few times she has growled and snapped at me when i even got close to her. (never bites but will still scare u a bit)
not sure if its being possesive of the bed or she knows its time to go out and doesnt want to go. (when we leave the house or go to bed she goes outside)

anyone else have this problem and have suggestions?

she has just recently started learning the correct inside behavior and is getting even better, but still acts like a toddler so time is spent 50/50 inside and out

Well, can you let us know her age?

Also, IMO- I wouldn't recommend going and pulling her collar. Can you work with treats to get her to "come" to you and ask her, wanna go potty?. Cali is trained, not by me, to get up to go outside when you ask her if she wants to go potty.

Good luck..you need to make stuff you want her to do, somehow be fun and good to her...tugging on collar isn't going to work though.

BTW i am no husky expert

she 2 will b 3 in may, no tugging on the collar . usually we can say "ouside and she'l go out. she is just hard headed like any husky and she needs to be guided out from time to time. this is just a new thing she started about the time we got her the bed

They can be very very stubborn. My foster, 4 y/o, is def a very stubborn. Once I got her figured out, things got a lot easier around here.

Try to remove the bed for a day and see if she still does it.

Might need to bump up the NILIF training for a little while. Sometimes Kale gets grabby with toys and I have to make him work for them for a week or two, kinda resets him.
