How old and how much do you huskies weigh?

About the first year and a half kiara was 40 lbs... I loved how petit she was, I got a female hoping she would be smaller and I refuse to get a male dog because all the male dogs I have seen or had have marking issues which I hate. My min pin still does it out of spite when I leave him alone. Now that I have kiara w him in the room he doesn't do it but still...

She went to live w my aunt for 6/8 months and she went from 40 to 60lbs! Granted it was in redding and it was summer but the. Winter came around and she was just an outside dog w my aunts lab and she really put on the fur and lbs. I'm in the middle of slimming her down and she has lost weight. I think it was all the walnuts, bugs and baby birds she would find... Also my aunt caught her using her paws to scrape over some horse poop to herself which is apparently one of her favorite snacks.

Ya that's huge lol, I am just curious if People think her natural weight is 40/45 cause she was that way for a year an a half. My aunts vet said she def needs a little Jenny Craig in her life.

I'd guess so. Faolan isn't chubby, he's right where he needs to be I think. He has a waist. If she's got no waist I'd say she probably does need to shed a few pounds.

My Thor is 2 yrs old and weights about 50 lbs. Never had an issue with either of my male dogs (GSD and Husky) marking anything at least in the house. They are both fixed so that might be why.
Many moons ago I had a male husky that was was not fixed and he marked everything inside and out....

Lol for sure. All she did was scavenge for baby birds and bugs and walnuts and horse poop. Fatty.

She has def lost weight though. Those were at her biggest in winter.

Fenrir is 8 months and, if I had to guess, I'd say leaning towards 45-46 lbs right now. He's grown a LOT in the last week.

Ava turned 3 last week and weighed in at 40.9lbs. Her usual weight is 42.5lbs, so I was really surprised. She doesn't look skinny or anything, but man, for all of her pulling power, you'd think she'd be more than 40 pounds..

We just very recently had a thread about this topic which also included feeding amounts, perhaps if you look around you will find it or maybe someone can post a link to the other one. Also there's a running "Weigh in" thread going too.

Ghost is a couple weeks shy of her 1st birthday and has been holding steady in the 42-44 lb range for a few weeks now. She's super lean though, so I suspect she'll probably top out right around 50 when she's done filling out. She's also tall, 22" at the shoulders.

Bella is 13 months and 3 weeks old, she weighs 49.8 pounds and is 20.5 inches (roughly) at the shoulder. She's a good size/weight but I'd still like to drop her about 5 more pounds.

Hayden is 5 months and 40 pounds! He was 28 pounds for a while and all of a sudden he hit a growth spurt and shot up in weight.

From the pictures you're girl does look like she could lose a little weight Laughing
I would decrease food and increase exercise Smile

Chloe is 1 year and 5 months old and weighs about 50 lbs. She has toned up a bit since I've had her on Orijen and taking her to the dog park almost everything day helps too.
