How to walk and run with two dogs? Empty
PostSubject: How to walk and run with two dogs?   How to walk and run with two dogs? EmptySat May 19, 2012 8:05 pm

I'm starting to walk more and more with the girls and I am looking for an easy way to walk both at the same time. A couple is out of the question as they don't like being that close together forcefully but, when we walk with two leashes, they walk next to each other..That's weird. Anyway, what's the best thing to use for walking, and eventually run (training using the Couch to 5K program), with the girls? I've heard of the leashes that attach to your waist but I'm not sure.

Thanks!

Denise

Need one of these waist leashes also! Asia's current leash has the option, but it's not as padded and it could be a bit longer when worn around the waist. Actually used it around the waist earlier today. Makes it easier to have a free hand and it alleviates the pulling too!

I was thinking of getting the ruff wear roamer leash. All of their leashes are ruff wear and I trust them. Plus, I think a few people on here have this one and love it. I believe Heather has it for Koda. Heather?

Have to wait a while though or Ivan will kill me if I buy something else dog related..lol.

I have the Ruffwear omnijore system and I use that with running- if I don't want to wear the belt with the omnijore, I use my roamer leash and loop one of the omnijore leashes through that so they are both on the belt.

BTW, Mel, I have a green roamer leash I don't use anymore that's the old style (his the plastic clip, not metal). If you want it let me know. It's wasted space on my behalf.
