I was able to walk the three!! Had a few moments that I had to stop and make them "sit & wait" and then continue, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. Best part was that I was able to leash them all up and walk out of the house with no issues on Myas part Very Happy Hubby came with me for support and in case something went down, but I didn't have to HAVE to hand a dog over to him. Eventually I did because he said he felt stupid trailing behind us...dogless..lol!

So the trick is...hold Asia on the left, put Kody on the leash around my waist (in the middle), and hold Mya on the right. I still hold a part of Kody's leash with my left hand also in order to pull him in if need be, but it seems to work! Now I just need a prong collar for little Ms. Asia b/c she does pull a lot!

I look like crap, but w-e Razz

That's how I was when we got Kody and walking him and Mya became a breeze after a while. Now I have to start all over, but with three. LOL! Thanks btw Smile

So you do three separate walks or you're able to walk two at once?

Took me a WHILE to get used to walking Mya and Kody together. Now it's cool and the mission is to walk the three!

I am alive! Let's see how tomorrow goes! And aren't they just too cute?! Not b/c they're mine, but they're adorable!

Oh, and btw, Mya and Asia played for the first time today. First they played chase in the yard for about a minute and they Mya tried wrestling with Asia, but Asia was like "ummm, you sure you're not going to kick my a$$??" Razz

Cool.. I walk my two with Blaze on the leash that goes around my waist like you have then I put Kerian on the hand held leash sometimes I will hook her leash to my waist also but I still have to hold the leashes or they get tangled or want to play while walking.. Kerian needs some work on her walking.

Congrats! That sure is an accomplishment! I walk Faolan with my little papillon Legend and even that can be a pain some mornings, especially those mornings where it seems like all the squirrels are out. I can't imagine if Legend was a husky, lol.

Congrats, Melissa.
That's quite an accomplishment- well over a hundred lbs. of husky vs. one human.

Make sure you update this about the first time you meet Mr. Squirrel.

Yep, let's hope that rat in a fur coat doesn't cross your path!
Storm used to pull, and even when he dropped weight to where Storm and Ginger weighed the same as me, they could still take me down when I wasn't paying attention. They seem to really like bunnies, even more so than squirrels when out for a walk. As long as you're ready before they go, I think you'll be fine. And don't get caught on wet grass with sneakers and have a squirrel or bunny cross your path - I 'boot skied' on grass until they lunged at the damn bunny.

Congrats on walking all 3 together!

Holy crap, Claudia - I had the exact same Bunny experience!!

Melissa - do you carry any kind of spray to ward off other dogs? When I walk the 2 myself, it helps get stray dogs away from me. Petsmart has Animal shield, a citronella spray. Once time, I had to ward off Ghetto Cat - who lunged at us like Bruce Lee...
