Hey there! I have been reading some of the posts and threads and decided this would be a good forum to join.

Addie Mae and I live in Daytona Beach, Florida. I have one week left to go at Embry-Riddle and will then be moving to Titusville, Florida for more school.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and getting some good tips and advice on sharing a house with a husky!

Thanks! Your dogs are beautiful!!!! How did Mickey get that color combination? I've never seen that before.

Odin looks so happy!

Does the Husky group ever come up towards Titusville?

Oh cool! Thanks. I'm finishing up school now in Daytona but will be heading to Titusville next month...so Orlando is a perfect spot!

When do you find that your pups do their shedding? It's hard to find good gouge on Florida husky shedding habits.

Thank you for the compliment! Kody has really great face markings!

Welcome! Always nice to see another Floridian join up. I see in your profile it says Pensacola, how often are you up this way? I'm in Milton (I fly out of NAS Whiting Field), and I run a meet up group in the Panhandle as well. Good luck with your move to Titusville!

Just added you to the CFL group before seeing this! lol.

Welcome to the forum!

Right now it seems like Siku has been blowing coat for 2 months or so. She won't stop!!! Elara doesn't blow coat much though. As for timing, when they feel like it. lol.

I actually work for the company that owns Ferguson Airport (82J) about 2 miles NW of Sherman.

My hometown is Pensacola, came down to Daytona for Embry-Riddle (college) and then getting sent down to Bristow Academy (rotorcraft training) in Titusville until the first of the year. Then I will be back in Pensacola.

Good to know I have a Husky contact up there.

@SaraB

How funny! I want to get out to one of the meet up's one day! Happy to have a local group and a web group!!!

Good to know about the coat. I can't tell if she is blowing or just shedding because of new home and a bit of a diet change.

Very cool! Check out Florida H2M2 on Facebook, I post pictures and meet up information on there. I try to rotate between Destin and Mobile for the official meets to get the whole area, but we go to either Scott Complex or Bayview Dog Park most weekends (not so much when it's this hot).

Thank you! She is 8 months old as of yesterday. She has gotten so big within the month I've had her! She came from a local humane society and was very malnourished. I've been fattening her up with a new diet and she is becoming a happy camper (when she isn't in her crate at least)
