Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

I just got my Misa a little while ago and at first she was sleeping all the time and was a somewhat tiny thing and now she's 9 weeks old and pretty much everywhere. She likes to bite everything even sweatpants or the edge of dresses and tug, she especially likes fingers which I am currently working on. I haven't taken her out much because she still hasn't gotten her last two shots so i'm at a loss on what to do and where to take her because she runs out of things to do at home. One issue is that she pees a lot, the vet said to take her back after a week but it gets all over her legs so I think she has a bladder infection. Has anyone's pup ever had one? It worries me and makes potty training hard because of accidents she just can't help but have. It's a lot of work having a husky but she's my girl. (:
Here's her now!:

Kale and I welcome you from NorCal Cool

Puppies that age need to be taken outside to potty at least every 30 mins to an hour, their bladders are not fully developed and they cannot hold it for very long. As for keeping her busy, try interactive games, hide and seek, and training sessions. Physical energy is only half of what needs to be spent, you also need to exercise her mind. Smile

It seems like she pees even in her sleep. When she sleeps somewhere its wet all over the floor and her legs as well. I have to wash her legs a few times a day. That's not normal right?

Definitely not. I'd collect a urine sample and take it to your vet for a stick/sediment/ possible culture. It should be a fresh sample, within an hour. If you collect one but can't make it to your vet right away, stick it in the fridge.

Thank you I will do that! I'm from NorCal too! One more question if you please, she seems to open her mouth a little frequently but she doesn't seem to be panting. Should I be worried?
