Luna is only 3 and a half months we been feeding her adult foods. We decided to stay with TOTW, but my girlfriend is concerning about that she's not getting what she needed. I was wondering is that a problem we should worry about?

TOTW is an all life stages food, so she should be just fine eating it. They do have a puppy formula as well now if you guys are that concerned about it.

TOTW does have a puppy formula if you would like to go that, but they didn't change recipe from the "all stages" to the new one. I would just keep feeding what you have been feeding her, its a great food to have her on

Ok We will stay with that. How come Petsmart or Petco doesn't sell TOTW?

the chain stores sell chain food, i well say petco has better food options then petsmart but you can find TOTW at great mom and pop shops, i hardly ever go into a chain pet store unless i need fish or Halloween costumes Wink

You can feed all life stage food but maybe check the Ca:P ratios to make sure they are not too high for a pup.

Typically, for a husky pup, we would like to see Ca:P ratios closer to 1.2:1. For large breed puppies, you could go higher to 1.5:1. Higher ratios would be considered for adults.

They sell TOTW at Pet Supermarket (don't know if you have one in your area), but Petco and Petsmart don't.

I went to the Vet today luna only gain 1 pound. I was in disbelieve! affraid . How is that possible? We feed her 2-3 time a day. She seem to be eating more and she sleep more. Do you think its because of how active we are with her? She goes to dog daycare, park, and hiking. I might have to slow it down until she gain weight No

How long has it been since you were last at the vet?

Dogs are just like kids in that they don't grow at a consistent weight. Is she active? Did the vet seem to think there was an issue? Can you see ribs/hips?

If she's acting normally and eating, I wouldn't worry about it. If your vet didn't seem concerned then there probably isn't an issue.

We go every two weeks since we got her. She only have 1 more visit and she's done. She's very active. The vet don't think she have any issue, matter of fact she think she's great. but when I look at huskies around Luna age they are a lot bigger. My goal is to see if Luna will turn out to be like Sabaka Wink

Huskies come in all different shapes and sizes, just like humans. If your vet thinks she's doing ok, then I wouldn't worry about it. She might be a late bloomer or she might just be a petite girl, and keep in mind a lot of Huskies are bred out of breed standard.

In my research Huskies are medium sized dogs. There are people on here with very small females. As long as your vet is happy with her growth I wouldn't worry.
