| Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | Here's a pic of Kodi and who he thinks is his twin sister. He doesn't realize that his big butt won't necessarily fit everywhere that hers will. He still tries really hard to sit on top of the couch & chairs like a cat. Already almost 4 months old.  |

| I like him, his eyes are such a deep blue. It goes well with how dark his markings are. What is the little mat he is laying on to 'keep cool'?

That sounds about right. Nikko was 9lbs at 7 weeks |

It was a cool mat that I got to keep him comfortable when the weather was hot. He quickly outgrew it and it became a chew toy for a little while. I didn't let him keep at it for long because I have no idea what it is filled with. There are actually a few of us up in the area. I've heard from several people at the local (Canton) dog park that several huskies have been making appearances. I haven't been lucky enough to meet any others yet. We definitely need to have an ATL meet-up soon! |

Just wait... We had our biggest spike between 11 and 12 weeks old. He gained 7 pounds in 6 days. Here is what our breakdown looked like: 7 weeks: 6 lbs. 11 weeks: 10.4 lbs. 12 weeks: 17.4 lbs. 16 weeks: 21.8 lbs. I'm planning to take him for a quick weigh-in tomorrow so we can dose his heart-worm & flea meds appropriately. Anxious to see where he is at 5 & 1/2 months. |
