Try adding some warm water to the dry food. This worked well with Lucian when he didn't have much of an appetite, he gobbled it right up.

I agree with Cristina, warm water can do wonders. You said she is eating canned food, have you tried mixing the two? That works well with my husky when she is being stubborn about eating.

Did she have surgery of some sort? Sometimes it can be rather traumatic for them. When I had my Samantha spayed, she wouldn't eat, or go downstairs to go outside. I had to have my husband behind her gently nudging her with his legs, and me coaxing her down the stairs from the front. She wouldn't eat her food either. I landed up buying some of that soft food that comes in pouches. It's not a very good food, which I didn't know at the time. But she did eat it, so fast she threw it back up, lol. Mixing the wet with the dry is a good idea too.

Besides the water thing, Ive heard sodium free chicken stock works well. If I dont feed shiva with can, she'll down right refuse her dry. I tested her will once...she won. Almost 2 weeks of barely touching the dry and losing alot of weight, I just mixed the can in from then on for fear of her getting skinnier. She used to be on raw and them home cooked, but I dont have the time for that anymore, in the future, Id like to go back.

I had that problem with Suka when I first brought him home. At first I thought he was just getting used to his new home...but after the 5th day of not eating I was really worried.

So I mixed in some wet food, and he ate it like that. For a year, we tried different brands in the hopes he would eventually 'give in' and eat the kibble. But nope, wouldn't eat any of them without the addition of some sort of topping (usually wet dog food, but sometimes gravy or chicken/turkey drippings would work just as well!)

Eventually, I figured out he just didn't like the brands we were feeding him! When I switched to Taste of the Wild from Merrick, he started eating his kibble by itself!

But, glad to hear she's eating just after the addition of water. Hope she feels better soon!

speaking of feeling better, she's been vommitting all day, i'm gonna get her some propac puppy because i get really good prices on it. on the other hand what i feed her now is purina chef michaels, yes i know it's not that healthy, but i supplement once a day with egg and every meal with a multivitamin and a fish oil pill capsule thingy.... and once a week i add a can of tuna, she's been doing fine until today i think it's because of her always digging around looking for food, which is why i asked how much i should be feeding since she's always so hungry and now it's starting to get her sick.
