Hello from William and Monique and our new Husky Nova ;D

We've been reading this forum for a few weeks now when we look up random question and always end up coming back to this site so i figured we might as well sign up and jump on in. Nova aka Supernova Wink

, is 12 weeks now and growing insanely fast, hes already 21 pounds with massive paws! Well thats all for now, just wanted to say hi, and i guess we will see you around the forums.

Welcome! I did the same thing. I read a ton of stuff and then made the dive today. Glad to see I wasn't the only one that couldn't resist. Nova looks awesome!

No worries, just clarification heh. Did, maya lose the red patches around the eyes with age? the picture of them together looks like she lost some of the color.

They faded but in some pictures you can see them. You can't see them in that picture because of the sun light on her face. I have some pictures in their scrapbook that shows her eye patches better. Smile

Welcome! Nova is absolutely adorable, and as Kelly mentioned we have a Maryland H2M2 group starting up. I know it's a little bit of a hike from Leesburg, but we are going to be shooting to keep most of our meetups a little bit more central so those of you coming from NOVA don't have too far to go. Nova will be a little young yet for this first one, the parks around here don't allow puppies below 4 months since they aren't fully vaccinated yet (Parvo is a big deal at parks), but he'll be old enough for the February meet. Take a look at the facebook page, and if you're interested you're more than welcome to join the group.

Yeah, A few of the dogs here are named after comic book characters or anime ones. Anakin was almost "Ichigo." But he got named after a jedi instead. Do you mean nova the guy with the golden helmet and thermal energy powers?

Yes, he is named after Nova the guy with the golden helmet and thermal powers ;D. We would like to go to one of the meetups when he has his shots, shouldn't be too long from now, i think it's like a month from now when hes fully done with all of the ones he will need for now.

And yeah, people always think we named him after northern Virginia haha, we have to tell them all the time. I'm surprised you guys even knew about Nova the comic book hero, hes kinda been out of the equation for a while except for Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3, which we play all the time.

I bought Marvel VS Capcom on the PS3 not too long ago. Game is bad ass!
