2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. First of i know huskys are going to shed.. Just read somethings that might help me out a little.

"The addition of supplements containing omega three fatty acids along with other health benefits, helps reduce shedding and improve coat condition. Linseed oil or fish oil capsules can be purchased at Wal-Mart for under $10.00/ 120 capsules." I read this on http://www.siberiansneedingowners.org/care_grooming.htm
Do those really help te shedding? Lately koda has been sheddiń alot.. I also read somewhere that some dogs can shed more from the type of dog food they eat is that true? Because he wasnt lole this before i switched him to bbw

I haven't noticed Karli shed more since she's been on bbw, so I'm not sure its the food. It would be interesting to see if the supplements would make any difference.

Karli sheds a TON...we brush two to three times a day and still get just as much hair the first time as the last time. I'd chalk it up to being normal unless your weather is changing there? Maybe its getting warmer? I'm not sure, Karli isn't blowing, its just normal shedding for her.

I don't think Pippa's had a full coat blowing yet, but every time she brushes against my legs, especially if I'm wearing something like leggings or yoga pants, my legs are covered in husky hair.

It's definitely worse right now because there's a lot of static in the air and her hair just sits on her instead of falling off.

I brush her daily, but they just have a lot of hair.
