Hey everyone,
My name is Josh and I have a wife and 3 year old b/g twins. We just bought a white hair, blue eyed husky and named him Loki. We've had him for about 3 weeks now and he is going on 11 weeks old. We also have 2 miniature doxies named Lily and Leah. So far Loki has been great. He is taking well to crate training, only has to go out about once a night now over about a 7 hour period. He is difficult when it comes to potty training, he is going outside, but inside as well. We have been using a pee pad inside, so at least if he goes inside he, goes on the pad I would say 75% of the time now. I'm not crazy about it, but it was a requirement from the wife. Very Happy He is finally starting to walk on the leash decently, keeping him close. He is sitting and laying down with a treat. So I think we are off to a good start. He is good with the kids and my son absolutely loves him. I wanted him to have a close friend he could grow up with. I do however want Loki to be an inside dog that is fairly well trained (potty, crate, basic commands, not tearing things up) so I am trying to put in the work from an early age. Just wanted to introduce myself and say hey. Looks like there is a lot of helpful info on here.

Good luck with the "not tearing things up"! lol
You'll find that the crate comes in handy!

Beautiful pup! Looks like he could maybe have some cream or even a bit of light red come out there later on!

You'll love the forum...its a great place to learn

Hi kclee,
Yeah, he definitely likes to chew, just trying to keep him on the right things and not the wrong. Smile I do love the crate and I'm glad he's taking to it so well so far.

Thank you, he's a cutie. I could definitely see that. He definitely has something coming through, I'm guessing his undercoat? that is a light reddish/brownish color.

I have had a lot of success on other forums for cars/video games, etc. So I look forward to my experiences on here. Nice to meet you.

Ahahahah I thought exactly the same thing.

Your pup is beautiful. My husky's name is Ghost but we were first divided between Ghost and Loki, and he is also white with blue eyes Razz

Welcome Smile it seems he is getting very well educated.

Yep, we almost went with Ghost too. Smile That's funny.

Yes, we are trying very hard to keep him learning but also having fun. We try and walk him about 15 min. twice a day. He really hates walking. Smile He wants to go and lay down, he's a lazy boy for a "sled dog". I'm sure he will get more energy as time goes on. Love the beach picture of Ghost.
